The IHM High School musicians have wrapped up another great year! At a small school like IHM, the same hardworking students take part in almost every group and activity, from the pro-life league and basketball team to the band, cross country, and chorus. Balancing all these commitments with their studies is impressive, and it’s inspiring to see what they achieve together.
In the musical department, this year, Brother Peter Mary took on the role of High School Chorus Director. The group performed at several school Masses and joined a local Lessons and Carols event, and competed at the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Competition, bringing home a Bronze.
The band marched in eight parades, won two first-place divisional titles, gave six concerts, and earned a Silver rating at the MICCA Competition. On Memorial Day, the IHM Band finished its 2025-2026 season of public performances. The last performance will be at graduation, this time without the seniors who have finished their high school journey.
